Foulkes&#8221;(IOAF<\/em><\/strong>) aims to transmit the group-analytic tradition based on the work and experience of its founding members.<\/p>\n<p>The Seminar\u2019s objective is to familiarize participants with the Group-Analytic theory through lectures and discussions and with its clinical application through participation in small and medium group experiences.<\/p>\n<p>According to its founder, S.H. Foulkes, Group-Analytic psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the relationship between individuals and groups, viewing the separation of the individual from the social as inconceivable. It uses as a framework of understanding the intersubjective interactions of members within the group\u2019s multi-faceted network of communication (matrix).
